Double Corona

Definition
A long, thick parejo of roughly 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 inches by 49 or 50. Cuba calls it Prominente, 194 mm by 49; Partagas Lusitanias and the Hoyo Double Corona are the reference examples.
Why it matters
Two hours of burn give a blend room to move through three or four distinct phases, which shorter formats compress or lose altogether.
In context
"The double corona is the one that shows whether the ligero was aged properly."
