Churchill
Vitolas & ShapesEnglish
Definition
A parejo of about 7 inches by 47 or 48, named for Winston Churchill and listed in the Cuban vitolario as Julieta No. 2, 178 mm by 47. Romeo y Julieta's version carried the name first.
Why it matters
Long enough to develop like a double corona but narrow enough that the wrapper still registers clearly, which is why it settled in as the after-dinner format.
In context
"Nobody buys a Churchill at lunch."
