Definition
The factory name for a size, used on the rolling floor rather than in the market. Cuban production runs on one shared vitolario, so a Mareva is a Mareva whether it leaves the building as a Montecristo or a Partagas. Rollers are quota'd and paid by galera name.
Why it matters
It is the only vocabulary that lets you compare sizes across Cuban brands, because identical cigars routinely carry completely different commercial names.
