Barber Pole

A cigar wrapped in two contrasting wrappers cut into strips and applied in an alternating spiral, most often a light natural against a dark maduro. Building one requires cutting and aligning both leaves precisely so the seams stay tight.

Beyond looks, the twin wrappers genuinely alternate on the palate, and the extra labor means barber poles are usually made by the shop's most skilled rollers.
