Definition
A valley in the El Paraiso department of southeastern Honduras, near Danli, with hot conditions and rich soil. Jamastran produces some of Honduras's strongest and most full-flavored filler.
Why it matters
When a Honduran blend tastes heavy, earthy, and sweet at once, Jamastran leaf is often responsible.
In context
"The Jamastran ligero made the cigar noticeably heavier than the Talanga version."
