A valley north of Tegucigalpa in Honduras's Francisco Morazan department, at higher elevation and cooler than Jamastran. It is known for wrapper and for more refined, aromatic filler.
Why it matters
Talanga is the counterweight to Jamastran in Honduran blending, contributing finesse rather than force.
In context
"Their Talanga wrapper reads floral where the Jamastran filler reads earthy."
