Definition
A commercial name for a robusto lengthened to roughly 6 or 6 1/2 inches while keeping 50 to 54 ring gauge. It is not a Cuban galera size and in practice overlaps most toros.
Why it matters
The label signals continuity with a house's robusto blend rather than a distinct format, so read the dimensions on the box rather than the name.
In context
"Their double robusto is a toro with a different word on the box."
