Triple Cap

AnatomyEnglish
Definition
Cuban-style finish built from three separate pieces of wrapper laid over the head, leaving two visible seam lines plus the cap edge. Many non-Cuban factories imitate the look; some genuinely use three pieces, others build the same appearance from a folded flag.
Why it matters
A clean triple cap signals the roller's skill and helps the head resist unraveling after the cut.
In context
"You can see the three lines under the light, that is a proper triple cap."
