Tight Draw

A draw that requires excessive effort, caused by overfilled bunches, a bunched or folded filler leaf, or too small a cut. Severe cases are called plugged.

A tight cigar overheats because the smoker pulls harder and more often, which pushes flavor toward bitterness and can make an otherwise good blend unsmokable.
