Definition
Relighting a cigar that has gone out. Best practice is to knock off the dead ash, purge the stale smoke, and toast the exposed foot before drawing.
Why it matters
A careless relight traps bitter residue in the cigar; a clean one costs little and can salvage most of an interrupted smoke.
